Meteora Stories does not ask you for an account, does not use visitor analytics and has no advertising or tracking cookies.

What stays on your device

• Language: one cookie (lang) remembers whether you chose Greek or English, for one year.
• Saved stories and settings: the stories you save, the note that you have seen the swipe hints and your sound setting stay in your browser’s storage. They are never sent anywhere.
• Copies for offline use: your browser keeps copies of pages and images so the site opens quickly, even without signal.

You can delete all of this from your browser settings by clearing this site’s data.

What the server records

Like any web server, ours records the IP address, time, page and browser type of each request. These logs are used only to run and secure the site, and are deleted automatically after about two weeks.

Links to other sites

The “Map” and “Directions” buttons open Google Maps, and article sources open their own websites. Their own privacy terms apply there. Ads marked “Sponsored” take you to the advertiser’s site only if you tap their button.
